To swing or play a shot

These are two completely different ways to perform a movement.
Moreover, there is often incomprehension for the golfer who does not understand why what he achieves on the practice range, he finds himself unable to produce on the course!!!
The player is frustrated by the difference in the result.
In fact, it is impossible to bring back to the course what we have integrated on the practice range.

In fact, the practice is a bit like taking a penalty without a goalie or serving in tennis without your opponent... You are in a safe space and you have an infinite amount of time to play.
The practice is used to perfect a utopian mechanics of a movement without constraint for an aesthetic and clear response: A golf swing.
The course is a real battlefield dedicated to the challenge, the holes follow one another with hazards and surprises at every moment... You are in a chaotic space and your time is limited.
The course challenges the player who must adapt to the proposed situation to give the best mechanical response for the purpose of performance: A golf shot.
These two universes are too far from each other to allow the same types of shots, and of course the reading of data on the Radars.
In the golf swing, there will be a purely aesthetic and mechanical search for a perfect movement to get a ball going.
In the golf shot, the player will put intention into the service of an adapted movement allowing a successful result.
We have already seen the table below, which is a valuable aid for adapting the work to the player's profile. This table was used in the last article to carry out the work on the practice range.

But you can also bring your Trackman or your flightScope on the course. The work will be totally different and you will not have the same data as on the practice range. Here, your approach will be different, and you will have to make a particular approach for each player color. A simulation on a simulator is also recommended training.

With Blue, prepare the working environment and the move to be played well.
Talk to your player, and you have to anticipate the data that will change compared to the practice.
Accuracy and facts.

With Red, analyze the situation and challenge your player to achieve the score on a very specific data. Fast and efficient.
Challenge and performance on data.

With Yellow, change situations on each ball, and compare the essential data to make the shot. Each shot has its own feeling and data.
Creativity and spontaneity.

With Green, take the measure and time of the situation. Let your player adapt and produce his shot. Ask him what data he felt and what data he is able to identify.
Feel and accuracy of the shot
