Frequently asked questions about golf simulators
These are the questions our clients ask most often before starting a project. The answers are the ones our team gives every day, in France and abroad.
A workable minimum is 3 metres wide, 5 metres deep and 2.70 metres of ceiling height. To play comfortably, with a full swing and room behind the screen, we recommend 5 by 7 metres with 3 metres of height, around 38 square metres. Every project is checked on plan before quoting, because a low ceiling, a beam or a garage door changes the layout.
A cage on its own, meaning the self-supporting frame with its protective fabric panels and its impact screen, starts at €7,500 excluding VAT with the Smart Cage. That price does not include computer hardware, the projector, the launch monitor or installation. Those are added according to the room and the hardware chosen, and are quoted separately.
Equipment is delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. Projects with a custom cage and structure add manufacturing time and usually take 8 to 10 weeks from order to the first session.
One year on wear parts and two years on computer hardware. Extended cover is available depending on the hardware chosen and the period you want to cover.
The three families serve different needs. Radar, such as TrackMan, tracks the ball through its whole flight, indoors and outdoors. An optical sensor, such as SkyTrak, is compact and suits a small room. Dual-camera systems, such as ProTee VX, capture the club through impact without a floor sensor. For a high-end residential room we recommend TrackMan iO, ceiling mounted, with no floor unit and no radar.
Yes. We install across France, in Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and further afield, with the same teams and the same follow-up.
Yes, from the first study to commissioning. We handle the design, the electrical plans, delivery, installation, calibration and training. One contact follows your file from the first call to handover.
For projects longer than eight weeks, 10% on order, 50% at eight weeks and the remaining 40% on installation. For shorter projects, 60% on order and 40% on installation.
Yes. Leasing is the most common arrangement for this kind of project and we work regularly with the lenders who provide it. We can point you to a partner and help prepare the file.
Most of the noise comes from ball impact and structure vibration. We deal with both: acoustic cages, PADD PRO padded panels and acoustic curtains. The treatment is designed for the room, to protect adjoining spaces and keep neighbours comfortable.
Yes. A multisport module adds football, basketball, frisbee golf, hunting games and more. That is what keeps the room alive for non-golfers, children and guests.
We offer furniture designed to house the screens and the computer, and we can take on the full fit-out with a partner company, from seating to the bar. Lighting is usually part of the electrician's scope, but we help define it.
Write to us from the contact page or call +33 4 74 94 67 70. Tell us the space available, the ceiling height and the intended use. We come back with a first estimate, then a detailed quote once the dimensions are confirmed.
The cage is the self-supporting frame with its protective screens and its impact screen. It defines the hitting area and stops the balls. A complete simulator adds the measurement system, the projector, the display surface and the software. We can equip an existing cage as well as start from an empty room.
Yes, as long as height and depth are sufficient. We check feasibility on plan before any quotation. Four points decide the layout: ceiling height, any beam, the garage door and cable routing. Our installations are as often in a garage as in a living room or a dedicated room.
Yes. The same structures host the measurement tools used by professionals. We equip clubs, indoor centres and academies, for coaching as well as club fitting.
The frame needs a regular visual check of its fixings. The screens are dusted dry, without abrasive products. The impact screen is a wear part, designed to be replaced.
Putting is worked on with dedicated tools such as PuttView or SAM PuttLab, which analyse direction, slope and club face. Radar covers the full game, these solutions go further on the short game.
Yes. A cage can be installed in an existing space without major works. The plan check determines the fixings and the adaptations required.
Yes. We work upstream with the architect or interior designer to integrate the frame, lighting and furniture into the project. Plans and technical constraints are shared from the design stage.
